Keep records the auditor can actually check
Evidence decides your marks. What good records look like, and how to keep them without extra paperwork.
Checked by SediaSafety Team · last reviewed
Most marks in a JISA audit come down to one question: can you show it? A procedure you follow but never record usually scores lower than one with a simple log.
What good evidence looks like
Dated: every check, meeting or training has a date.
Signed or named: someone is responsible for it.
Easy to find: the auditor should not wait while you search.
Make it part of the day
Records kept as the work happens are complete and believable. Records written the week before the audit are neither.
