Checked by SediaSafety Team · last reviewed

The JISA audit looks at how your company runs safety, item by item. Each item on the Borang gets a mark from 0 to 3, and your total decides whether you pass.

The marks

  • 0: nothing in place, or no evidence of it.

  • 1 to 2: partly in place, or evidence is patchy.

  • 3: in place, with records the auditor can see.

The 70% line

Your marks are added up and compared with the total possible. You need at least 70% to pass.

Seven items that override your total

Seven items are mandatory: 1.4, 2.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 5.1 and 5.3. Fall short on one of them and a good total will not save you.
